This month, our campus will be focusing on the character trait EMPATHY! Empathy is defined as "the ability to understand and share the feelings of another." This month, we are challenging students and staff to make sure that everyone they interact with feels seen, heard, and valued. We will be heavily focused on connecting with HEART! Our world is full of people of different views, values, and cultural differences. A great way to form connection is through celebrating our differences! This provides our students to widen their hearts and perspectives to connect to their peers, to open the door for empathy.
